idea Compatibility with Google Maps when sharing coordinates. Fiel Maps in ArcGIS Field Maps Ideas

Compatibility with Google Maps when sharing coordinates

Currently, ArcGIS Field Maps displays coordinates using degrees symbols and letters (e.g., 36.810436ºN 6.350796ºO). However, this format is not compatible with Google Maps, which requires the standard decimal format with a negative sign for west longitudes (36.810436, -6.350796).
When users try to get directions in Google Maps from ArcGIS Field Maps, the application does not correctly interpret the coordinates due to this format difference. As a result, the navigation functionality does not work properly.
We request that ArcGIS Field Maps implement an option to display coordinates in the standard decimal format with a negative sign for west (W) longitudes and without degree symbols or letters. This would improve interoperability with Google Maps and other navigation applications that use this format.
This enhancement would allow users to obtain directions more efficiently without manually converting coordinates before using them in other platforms.

Thank you for considering this request.

It looks like this is either Field Maps or the underlying system libraries localizing "West" to "Oeste" which is too confusing to Google Maps. A "fun" example of what happens when you don't test your alternate locales properly and a very good reason to switch to decimal degrees for display. Although my EN locale machine can't pass those coordinates with comma point decimal formatting so this might be a larger issue with Google Maps.

Good afternoon. Could you tell me more about the workflow you are using between ArcGIS Field Maps and Google Maps? Are you using the directions tool in ArcGIS Field Maps?
