We have the issue with the pop-ups not showing attribute data and have contacted support.

We are also experiencing issues with symbology showing up as ! instead of points (worked in old version and every other version and app) in layers that are not cached.

Also the custom search fields are inaccessible , only search used is the geocoder, has this functionality been removed from Explorer?

Are groups for maps completely removed? If you have a lot of maps it was easier for people to find their maps within their different groups.

Hi Mike,

A couple of items to follow up on here, but I'll start with the Symbology you are seeing with the !. I haven't heard this issue yet.

- Are you able to take a screen shot of what the symbol looks like in AGOL, and what it looks like in explorer.

- It would be great to know what the symbol is exactly. Is the symbology set in the service layer? or did you specify a different symbol when authoring the map? It may be something specific to the symbol being used, that will help me get to the bottom of this issue.

As for the others you mentioned...

1) Popups - we're working hard on this one!

3) Custom search not working? Can you share more details on this - we want to understand your scenario. I've asked Joel Whitney‌ to help get to the bottom of this one. So as much info as you can share (screen shots of the configuration etc) would be great.

4) Map Browse by Group. The team has heard this feedback from quite a few folks. The team is working on a design for this, and evaluating it for a possible enhancement.

I sent screen shots to support and our Partner contact last week showing the issue. Below are 2 of the images we sent to them. The first shows how the symbology looked in Explorer iOS version 10.2.9 the second shows how it looks in 17.1.0. It also looks fine in collector (app this is mostly used in) and the android version. We have another map that uses very similar symbology that is not impacted. One difference is that we have a second service layer that we use for the labeling with no symbology for the point. The ! symbol is shown at all zoom levels. The farther out zoom levels are only single color points (character marker), zoomed in (shown below) are 2 layerd points (one color and one background slightly larger white).

We are preparing a 17.1.1 update that addresses a number of issues that have been reported (not all) and would really appreciate your feedback. We are submitting our update to Apple right now.

Our plan is to provide a Test Flight build to those that email Explorer4ArcGIS@esri.com. We already have a working list so please add yourself to it if you have not done so already and would like to test ahead of release - we would like your validation on these issues if possible.

In the interest of time, we are submitting our 17.1.1 update for release as well and will make it available as soon as possible.

Here is the working list of issues addressed within the 17.1.1 update:
- Cannot see or edit visibility of sublayers in Layers list
- (BUG-000106698) Webmap Search Settings not honored
- Ranking should return features as top result on search
- Maps: Sort by Date is putting oldest maps at the top
- (BUG-000106480) Workaround for Popup Details not showing for 10.5 and 10.5.1 services
- Takes a long time to drop a pin with slow rendering layers enabled
- Sort by Title: Should not be case sensitive
- IWA portal URLs not being added to the recent portal URL list on the portal Sign in screen
- (BUG-000106478, BUG-000106507) URLS not clickable in Popup
- (extends BUG-000106698) Disable search if Find Locations is disabled
- URL Scheme: Support box application
