How to manually create link to a map in Explorer?

Hi All,

In Explorer for IOS, and I assume the other flavors, you can share a map. It can send a message with a URL to load the app and open the map.

The URL looks something like this:

arcgis-explorer://open/?id=22aefd48682d4ad880a37f084bda44eb&centerx=-9271561.051267&centery=4099793.561210&scale=32823.639400

My question is, where is the documentation on how to craft the URL by hand? Are there other parameters besides 'centry', 'centrx', and 'scale'?

It would be cool to be able to have a tool that I could sent a technician a message with a link to "Look Here".

Hi Russell - I'm not sure if you still have this question, but I wanted to try and offer some insight.

First, the URL that you see above will work well with iOS devices - but for a more universal URL, check out this format:

The XY and Scale are optional. At this time, there are no other parameters that are supported.
