In addition to enabling "sync" and "update" on the web service it seems that I also need to enable editing privileges on the layer at the database level as well. This "allow for edit" at the eGDB level is creating sync versions for read-only data which seems overkill just for read-only data. I thought I would reach out to other users to see if there is another way around this.</P><P></P><P>Do you have data that you allow for offline use in Explorer?
