There is a known limitation for WMTS layers and this is the error you would see in the case where the basemap is using one of these layers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Joel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are having issues loading maps in Explorer, pretty well every map displays&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN style="display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #3d3d3d; font-family: Helvetica Neue,Helvetica,Arial,Lucida Grande,sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; word-wrap: break-word;"&gt;"Unable to open Map - Invalid XML" upon trying to open.&amp;nbsp; I believe this has been a random problem in the past but now all maps will not load. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #3d3d3d; font-family: Helvetica Neue,Helvetica,Arial,Lucida Grande,sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; word-wrap: break-word;"&gt;All of these maps worked perfectly in the past.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
