I have a time animation for ice cover. It is stored in i file based geodatabase. In Arc Map I can use the time-tool and get an animation. But in AG explorer, it seems that I have to export the database to KML, then I can show a time animation.
I find this a bit strange - AG explorer is an ESRI-product, but it does not support functionality in its own, native file format?
There is no problem to create a pythonskript that automaticly creates a KML-file, but it generates one more step, one more file, more to organize and more to store! Do ESRI have any plans to support time in its own formats as well?

Regards

Sveinung Bertnes Råheim
Lonygearbyen
