topic stretching issue of imagery histogram in ArcGIS Explorer in ArcGIS Explorer Desktop Questions

Hi, all

I notice that the imagery histogram is usually stretched, which causes the quality of imagery display getting worse, when adding raster IMG images into ArcGIS Explorer (1500).

In this release of the application, some tools like Transparency and Enhance (Brightness, Contrast, Gamma) can be used manually to adjust the display quality. Certainly, they are helpful and work well, but also very often are not fully suitable for some cases such as larger size of processed IMG images and images with water bodies, etc. [However, other kinds of images' histogram such as TIFF & MrSID can keep 'AS IS', i.e., not stretched, after loading from local machine.]

So, do we have any way automatically to turn on the loaded IMG images as Non-stretch (just like TIFF or MrSID)?

Or, is it feasible to provide such kind of option so that users can manually do so?
