Hi all,

When I try to install ArcGIS Explorer 1500 (during "Configuring ArcGIS Explorer...This may take several minutes")appears this box message:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.MFC, publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",version="9.0.21022.8",type="win32",processorArchitecture="x86".Please refer to Help and Support for more information.

If i try to open Explorer (there are a icon on desktop) it success! but after close installation, appears ESRI's crash report.

What's the problem?

Fabio,

Do you have any Visual Studio versions already installed? Looking online, there are quite a few threads on various Microsoft-related forums regarding this error for which the solution might be a repair of Visual Studio?

I also sugest uninstalling and reinstalling ArcGIS Explorer.

Did you install on Windows 7?

unlucky this thread doesn't help me.
I have win7 Business and .NET 4 client, but doesn't have any Visual Studio installed.

.NET Framework Setup Verification Tool User's Guide doesn't find any error.

Any other suggestion? somebody else had same problem?

First time doesn't happen because there was a registry error on my pc. After re-installing I retry to follow that thread and now AGX 1500 works!
