topic How do I reformat the attribute table to be vertical instead of horizontal? in ArcGIS Explorer Desktop Questions

Hello everyone,

I am currently using a different software for work, but accessing the attribute table for each individual point or line is very cumbersome for the software we are using. I was asked to try and get a free ArcViewer to import a shapefile and see if I can access the attributes there. Well the short answer is I can, but not quite the way we want it. When I go to display the attributes, everything is horizontal. Meaning each field is shown left to right, with the data underneath. I need this to be vertical, with each field going from top to bottom with data showing on the right.

Side note: I somehow was able to get a separate window with the table formatted how I wanted it, but it was random chance and I have no idea what I did in order to duplicate it. In other words: I KNOW IT'S POSSIBLE, but I can not figure it out. I have attached the current format shown in ArcExplorer.

Thank you for your help
