Problem starting ArcGIS Explorer

When I click on the icon for Explorer it looks like it is going to work the Splash screen pops up then the startup screen looks like it is going to work and that is where the generic error box pops up. I am the end user and do not have rights to the server.

Any ideas would be nice.

What does the generic error box say? I have a user that can't get the program to open at all. Splash screen comes up, program looks like it is about to open then it just closes automatically every time with no error message.

The Error that I Receive is a very generic one that does not explain much. It is the one that has the Send Error Report or Don�??t Send button on the bottom and ,ArcGIS Explorer has encountered a serious application error and is unable to continue. , on the top. I placed a jpeg of the error in the attachments if this would help.

if you attach crash dump I will take a look at what's happening.

Fawna,

if you type %APPDATA% into your explorer window, then go to esri folder, then go to ErrorReports folder. You will find .dmp (crash dump file). Attach one here.
