Experience Builder Export to CSV Disable X Y Columns

Hello,

By default when exporting an attribute table in Experience Builder to CSV, X and Y fields are generated automatically for point data.

How can this functionality be disabled? I have columns for the coordinates in the table and do not need any additional data there.

Unfortunately, it is now impossible to export point data without including X and Y fields.

@ShengdiZhang - In addition to the X and Y fields, the ObjectID and GlobalID also carry over into my CSV. I have had my colleagues test this both as a public user and a logged in user, and they receive the same result. These fields are not checked on in the 'configure fields' of the table settings. I tried making a view of the feature layer and creating a whole new project, but the results are the same. I have searched the community forums here, to no avail, on possible solutions. Any ideas? Thanks!

btw - this is a feature layer updated in S123.

Is esri planning to fix this? For our project, we want people to download the attribute info, but not the coordinates, since there are privacy concerns with some of the points. Adding the x and y columns automatically also seems like it would make it really easy for someone to duplicate our map without permission.

Also interested in being able to disable the addition of x y coordinates since we already have it as fields in our data.

I would like to know the same thing. The two extra columns is also mirrored (as there is a diffrent standard in Europe and USA, so x is y and y is x) so it just make it even more confusing for our users.

I even tried creating a Form within the web map and using that for my table but still, the x and y appears. I haven't seen or heard of a solution from Esri. @ShengdiZhang - anything new?

Hi @ClangDevGuy ,

There's an existing enhancement in our Support (ENH-000159365) that we're currently waiting on help with the corresponding team.

As for changing the coordinate system, you can update it in your own data. You could upload two similar layers in your app—one for export with a different coordinate system—or create a feature table without coordinates.

I'm also curious if Esri has any timeline to address this issue. For sensitive data where we don't want to release exact coordinates, there's no viable workaround other than publishing a flat table of the same data and using that in all widgets by linking via a common unique identifier. But that does not provide the same UI/UX options as just using the point layer.

Hi @ShengdiZhang, is there any update on being able to remove x/y fields from exported csv's? I tried finding ENH-000159365 but was not able to via search. Is there a URL for the enhancement?
