Developer Edition info.json userRole

I have been migrating some of my apps in the developer edition from using data sources in AGOL to the ones in our on site hosted portal (updating info.json and config.json). I thought I had it figured out, but then I looked at an info.json file and noticed it had a "userRole" property where others did not. I have updated "owner" and "username" as part of moving the app from AGOL to the local portal. The "owner" property make sense to me in this context, but "username" and "userRole" do not. Where are the explanations of the properties in info.json documented? Is there anything else I need to be aware of in info.json when doing this?
