List Widget - use filter tool to zoom

Hi,

I have a list widget that uses the filter tool.

I'm hoping for the following behaviour: when the user filters the list with the filter tool, the map zooms to the extent of the items found in the (filtered) list.

Is this possible with the list widget, or would this require customization?

It's something you actually configure on the Filter widget itself. You can add a trigger to your Filter that will pan or zoom to the remaining features.

So use a filter widget on the list instead of the filter tool that is available within the list widget.

Ah, yes. I should have specified that.

I've found from user feedback that a standalone filter widget is usually preferable anyway, since it is more obvious that the filter is there. I like to put it in an expandable tab above the list.
