Experience Builder- Chart X and Y Axis settings are incorrect

Hello EB Team,

Upon recently working with your chart settings in Experience builder, I found that your axis controls are incorrect in the app's configuration. When toggling the X axis settings it controls the y axis and vice versa.

Please resolve this issue.

I respectfully disagree and prefer the current headings where 'x-axis' is more colloquially replaceable with "independent value" (or "category") than it is meant strictly as "a horizontal layout"; practically, this means the data configuration process is the same for a horizontal (bar) chart and a vertical (column) chart.

"Sometimes bar graphs are made so that the bars are sideways like in the graph to the left. Then the y-axis is horizontal (flat)." -- National Center for Education Statistics

(Of course, I only feel this way because of the constrained nature of the Chart widget in the first place; we don't really have full control over the X or Y axis in any case! So, I read "X-Axis" as "My Categories" and "Y-Axis" as "My Statistic", regardless of orientation.)

This is a limitation of your axis naming. X-axis always refer to category axis no matter the orientation.

We will improve.
