Interaction between filter and query widget.

I want to apply filter to multiple layers but i want the end user to enter only one value in one place. Then i want the output from filter widget to be the input for query widget. Is this possible in experience builder??

Yes, I think you can do that. This should walk you through setting up a Group Filter. As long as the Filter Widget is using the same Datasource and Datasource View as the Query Widget, the data going into the Query Widget should also be filtered.

Thank you for your help, the guide was a major help. Now after i set all that up how do i select the filtered records temporarily so i can use them as an input in query widget?

There isn't a way for the Filter Widget to trigger the Query Widget, but the two Widgets have a lot of functional overlap. I'm not sure why you need to use both when you could use a List or Feature Info Widget as a output for the filtering.
