Customized scale bar in Experience Builder

Dear community,

i have a question relating the map scale bar in the Experience Builder.

Is it possible to change the color, display, or position of the map scale bar from the Map Widget in Experience Builder?

Only the color for the map scale is changing slightly when I use another theme.
So far I did not find a solution for this.
I just come across the following ENH from Esri, that this kind of feature is planned:

I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3.

I am not sure if this customization would be even possible with the Experience Builder Developer Edition?

Hi @timfreisen ,

For Developer Edition, you can write css style to override the default UI of map scale bar. The css selector is '.esri-scale-bar'. Like this:
