topic How to overlay a polygon layer with a point layer while maintaining two distinct legends? in ArcGIS Experience Builder Questions

Hello, I have currently built an experience that presents a series of polygon layers (https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/ce3975f9368841f791d1fc8891e6171b). We would like to add a menu of point layers that users can turn on and off. I understand this could be achieved by simply adding the point layers to the main map being shown, but I am hoping to have the layer selection tool for the points as a separate widget.

I see I can have multiple maps stored in the maps object, but it seems to toggle back and forth between the two maps, also changing the layers shown in the side panel. I want the polygon map and the presented layer list to stay fixed while the points are overlaid. Any advice on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Riley
