Corrupt link

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help or offer suggestions.

In my thesis (distributed as a locked PDF), I included a direct link to an ArcGIS Experience Builder web map:

https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/56cbaab7d8fd4671abae8b68773a5f00

The link worked fine originally. However, due to formatting/line wrapping in the PDF, the URL was automatically split across lines — and now when some users click the link (especially in Chrome’s PDF viewer), it gets interpreted as:

https://experi-ence.arcgis.com/experience/56cbaab7d8fd4671abae8b68773a5f00

This malformed version obviously leads nowhere, as experi-ence.arcgis.com isn’t a valid domain. Unfortunately, I can’t edit or reissue the PDF, so I can’t fix the original link or add a corrected version.

My question is:

Is there any way to make that malformed link redirect to the correct one?
Has anyone dealt with similar link break issues in locked PDFs?

I’ve considered reaching out to Esri to see if a temporary redirect could be set up on their end, but I realize that may not be feasible.

Any ideas, advice, or even workarounds are greatly appreciated!
