Popups in Experience Builder are not matching popups configured in Map Viewer.

I configured popups in a simple web map. All I have is the title - no field lists or anything. However, the popup in Experience Builder shows a field list. I don't want to show any fields besides the one I have in the title section.

Thanks for your question. I've given this a quick test and the pop ups seem to be working as expected for me so hopefully we can work out why this is not working for you.

Just to check, are you editing the pop up within the pop up tab in the web map viewer?

I assume your configuration looks similar to the above screenshot with all fields removed and just the title present? Could you confirm that once you save this web map and navigate to experience builder, the pop ups appear differently than within your web map?

I removed the fields list in Map Viewer and just have a field in the Title section. However, when I turn on the popups in Experience Builder, it shows a field list.

If you refresh your web map, do the pop ups show as expected in the map viewer? Would you be able to send a screenshot of the pop up configuration within the map viewer and how it is showing in the experience builder?

Hello - I've had this issue too (although in a web scene) but I found a workaround so thought I would post it.

In the 'configure pop-ups' window, deleting the 'fields list' item would result in this issue.

Instead if you keep the 'fields list' item and instead remove all of the fields so it is empty, then the pop-up will display without the list.

We have the same issue using the Map viewer web maps in Experience Builder. Seems that ExB is not reading the map viewer popup config properly.

The workaround works though thanks!

ArcPro 3.5 Enterprise 11.2.

I am having an issue with Charts in the popup, where the option to 'Maintain Axis' is not maintained. If published through ArcPro to maintain axis at 100, it will show in the MapService as 100, it will show in the Feature Service as 100, it will show in a webmap as 100, but it will show as relative to the feature in an experience builder.

Just replying to this as it is still an issue 2 years later! I used @KatieSelfEd 's suggestion and kept the field list but unticked the boxes and that does the trick, but surely that isn't how it's meant to work? @IssyAmis is this being looked at at all please?

Hi @SarahBarks Thank you for flagging this. I've had a look and we do currently have a bug listed for this which is "Under consideration": BUG-000172467 for ArcGIS Experience Builder

I'd recommend, if you have support with us, contact your regional Esri Tech Support team and mention this bug and this Esri Community thread and we will be able to attach the bug to your organisation. You will then be able to escalate the bug from there.

This is the best way for any user to get a bug moved along quicker as I would not be able to escalate this myself.

Glad to have found this thread because I was thinking I was crazy. Echoing others, sad that this rather fundamental thing (a map's pop-up configuration) hasn't been fixed yet by Esri...

@BenCunninghamCville and others, as suggested by @IssyAmis, register a case with Tech Support with this problem and ask them to attach this bug to your case and then elevate it. I was able to do it.
