Highlighted features are not cleared when using the ArcGIS Experience Builder Near Me widget

Hello all!

I am having an issue with highlighted features not clearing in one of my Experience Builder project.

I am using the Near Me widget to return district results from an inputted address in the Search widget and highlight the district results on the map (see fig.1).

After I Clear the district results from the Near Me widget and the address from the Search widget, the targeted feature polygon continues to stay highlights (see fig.2).

This issue is similar to the issue with the Query widget where highlighted features did not reset after clearing the query.

Is anyone familiar with my current dilemma and can provide a solution to correct it? Thank you.
