Incompatible contents warning - how to remove pop-up?

We recently built an Experience in Online (after the February 2025 updates), then moved it over to Dev (v1.16).

In Dev, we're seeing this pop-up across the entire header (hiding the title, help window link, etc.): "This experience is in a higher version. Incompatible contents may not work."

We've already taken care to fix a couple of things that weren't looking right due to the difference in versions, so users shouldn't notice any "incompatible contents." This is a public-facing application, so we want to remove the banner to eliminate confusion for users, especially due to its inconvenient location. But, I can't figure out how to do this!

Any ideas/strategies to remove this unwanted pop-up for our users would be very appreciated.

Developer Edition 1.17 should be out in about a month and the versions should be compatible then. Until then I would set up a redirect to the ArcGIS Online version.
