I went in and manually set the refresh rates for every map and layer to 30 mins. However, when viewed from the Experience Builder (and not if you are viewing the dashboard directly) they entire page refreshes every 5 minutes and the date selection filter is reset which means if you didn't get what you needed in that 5 minutes you have to start over again. Very frustrating.
