Expand Layer Groups in LayerList Widget by default

Is there a setting to expand the groups in the LayerList Widget by default? if yes, where would I find it in AGOL Experience Builder?

If no, is there a timeframe when this functionality would be added?

It is currently not available, and we are in the process of communicating with the corresponding team for that.

what if you dont want all layers expanded by default? You only want certain ones. I have it set up the way I want in the AGOL map, but its not reflecting in the Experience Builder.
