It is possible to save drawing work from the Draw widget out to json, geojson, etc and have the ability to reload?

The Draw Widget does not have an option to download your drawings or save them for another session.

Thank @JeffreyThompson2 for the prompt response. Yes, drawn graphics cannot be exported now, and we're working on finding a solution for it. @RodWoodford

Hi @Shen_Zhang . If you take a look at the enhanced draw widget developed for WAB you might get some ideas. This widget allowed for exporting and importing your graphics using json. It needed a bit more work but is very useful and popular with end users.

Hi @Shen_Zhang Any progress with this. Its now been over 12 months since I raised this. Our organization really depends on exporting and importing drawn graphics. We are still needing to the WABDs enhanced Draw widget which is slowing down our complete transition to EXB.

This work is still in progress and will likely produce a format exclusive to the Draw widget.

Happy to see this is now available in the Feb 2026 AGOL release and future Portal release. The tool would be infinitely more useful if the drawing export was available in an open geospatial format such as GeoJSON so that exports can be opened in other GIS software.
