Select feature as the AOI for Nearme Widget

I am trying to use the new "Select" widget with the NearMe widget (released last week!)

I want to be able to select a feature with the widget and use that feature as the AOI for the NearMe widget.
It looks like that is an available setting as under message actions you can use Near Me as the set location (see image). But for some reason it is not working. The feature (a parcel) is selected, but nothing happens when I open the NearMe widget.

In the select widget settings I have :

Framework select data records - with the select layer as trigger and action data

Near Me set location

Map pan to

I also have Near Me set location under the map action settings.

AH I figured it out! I removed these data message actions:

Framework select data records - with the select layer as trigger and action data

Map pan to

The only actions I have in the select widget are now:

Also it looks like you need to nearme widget to be open before you select the feature.
