idea Enable Pixel Value Interrogation for Raster Layers in ArcGIS Experience Builder in ArcGIS Experience Builder Ideas

Introduce a native capability in ArcGIS Experience Builder—both full mode and Express mode—to interrogate raster layers and retrieve pixel values through simple map interactions (e.g. click‑to‑identify).

Rasters are fundamental to spatial analysis across local government, environmental science, emergency response, planning, and utilities. Many organisations rely on pixel‑based datasets such as:

elevation and slope models
flood depth grids
heatmaps and continuous surfaces
land suitability rasters
satellite‑derived indices
cost surfaces and predictive models

At present, Experience Builder has no built‑in mechanism for retrieving pixel values from raster layers directly on the map. That gap makes common “what is the value here?” questions harder for non‑GIS staff, who otherwise need to escalate to GIS teams or open desktop tools.
