Export configured for individual widgets

Currently Experience Builder allows you to enable or disable Exporting layers to other formats (such as CSV) only from the Data Panel in the ExB edit mode. It would be nice if you could enable or disable Export for each widget. Example, I only want my users to be able to export to other formats from ONE widget (the query widget or the table widget) but they are able to export from the Map Layers, Table, Query, and other widgets which can possibly cause some confusion for end users.

So, there could be a third option.

If exporting is disabled in the base widgets, if a custom widget can still query, you could in theory make your own widget that pops up a dialog to choose the format, and then export it that way. This would be a possible work around, maybe. I've not tried it, but I wonder if it would be possible to do it that way?
