Print Reports for Near Me tool in Experiencebuilder

This functionality is extremely important to our Protected Resources Branches for the entire east coast of the US, and the nationwide mapper, in order to protect endangered and threatened species by law.

The current apps that rely on this print functionality are:

Although he ESA mapper is using the custom print functionality workaround, it is not working because it needs to direct to a website outside of ESRI that keeps breaking as it is flagged as a security risk by ESRI. This is why it needs to be built in directly.

Follow-up discussions: I have been flagging this issue to Nicole Grams since July 12, 2024. Today I spoke about it with Josh Grail and Josh Bradley as well. Please assist me in escalating this issue.

When you said ESA mapper is using custom print functionality, did you mean you are using a custom print widget? If yes, is that developed by your organization or anybody other than esri?

It is developed in code by Renee Eaton. But we need it within the
application so we can directly print reports by all users of the near me
layers to submit with their permits.

If you have ArcGIS Enterprise you can also use custom print service to print from Near me right now. This is feature is available in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3. Here is the community post that has links to two blogs that will guide you step by step on how to create publish and use the custom print service to generate report from Near Me output results .

About client side report like we have in Web AppBuilder Screening and Situation Awareness, we are working on that functionality, if everything goes as planned we are hoping to add that in Q1 next year.
