Grid Overlay widget for Experience Builder

Real-world Problem: First responders are working on an Urban Search & Rescue team and responding to a building collapse. To organize their search operations, they use a Web AppBuilder product called Intel Manager within SAR Common Operating Platform (SARCOP) to quickly create search segments and monitor what has been searched. Many Urban Search & Rescue First Responders are accustomed to using United States Military Grid Reference System (MGRS). For those users, they employ the Grid Overlay widget to quickly render an MGRS grid within SARCOP. The Grid Overlay widget allows users to be more efficient with navigating, referencing, and creating gridded search segments during disasters.

Audience: First Responders, Urban Search & Rescue Team Members,

Technical Problem: As we are migrating this project from Web AppBuilder to Experience Builder, this workflow of adding MGRS to SARCOP using the Grid Overlay widget is no longer available.

Potential Solution: Provide a widget within Experience Builder for users to easily overlay MGRS, USNG, and other grids.

Hi, @emontague_napsg Thank you for sharing your use case. We don't have plans to migrate this widget to ExB yet, but this might change in the future. I'll update the team on this.

Please, please, PLEASE migrate this widget to Experience Builder. It is critical for producing apps that are compliant with U.S. National Grid standards, including labelled grid lines at varying scales.
