idea Export/download all attachments from record in ArcGIS Experience Builder Ideas

It would be really helpful to be able to download all attachments from a record at once in Experience Builder. Right now, we need to view and save each attachment individually. Downloading a zip file or something similar containing all the attachments would save a lot of clicking.

This is possible in ArcGIS Pro, but I guess your workflow require it in Experience Builder.

Export Attachments (Data Management)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

Agreed, we would really like to have this sort of functionality in Experience Builder as well. A workflow where the user can select multiple features, then click one button to export the attachments for all the selected features would be great.

If the widget set-up interface could allow us to pre-configure the naming convention for each of the files as well that would be fantastic.

The export attachments tool in ArcGIS Pro is really good, but of course not available to or practical for non-GIS staff.

Have you been able to find a workaround or are we still waiting for this to be considered in an EB update?

@Julia_B sadly as of now I still haven't found a workaround. I made a post a while ago (Re: Custom Widget for Photo Export - Esri Community) about how I tried to make a custom tool to do this, but I couldn't get it to work. Shengdi Zhang at Esri recommended a custom data action, but when I looked into that I think it was for the developer version of EB only, which we don't use.

I'm really hoping they add it to a future version of Experience Builder or Dashboards.

Agreed - just chiming in to show support and need for this capability.

This functionality in Experience Builder would be very helpful, saving a ton of time and grief. The staff that needs to download the images doesn't have access to ArcGIS Pro - they need to do it via EB. The "workarounds" I've seen require developer skills and installations I can't do. Downloading multiple pictures at once from a Selection, List, and/or Filter widget doesn't seem like that much of a stretch and there are so many use cases for it, it's kind of unbelievable it hasn't been built in already. 🤞it will be in a future update.
