<title>idea Pure HTML Widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder Ideas</title>
    <link>https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-ideas/pure-html-widget/idi-p/1510574</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I think increasing HTML/CSS functionality in the realm of a widget with full (or near full) HTML/CSS functionality would be highly beneficial. Currently, I am constrained to the functionality of existing widgets and the limited html capabilities that exist in some of these, as well as what can be added to pop-ups. A widget such as this would allow me to be more granular when tailoring applications on projects for different people/organizations. For example, with such a widget I could create a boarder of moving images across the header, or tailor my splash screen to be more aesthetically pleasing when opened by a user. It would also be beneficial for such a tool to have the ability to connect to data, including existing expressions build in the map that is later loaded into the application. For example, I could build an iframe that looks at an expression I built in my webmap and loads its output, such as, a webpage that dynamically filters based on spatial and attribute filtering. Providing such a tool would combine the advantages of a low code build platform such as experience builder, with the ability to still take advantage of code in particular areas.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
