A thousand times agree!! This idea would greatly add ease of use for the user and allow ExB to function on par with the Sidebar Instant App.

I need a similar behavior where all pop-up results show up in a side panel. Is that too much to ask?

Hi @FredericPoliart_EsriAU ,

In the latest AGOL update, we've added several new ways to open the sidebar from other widgets.

You can add Button Click - Open Sidebar message action to the Button widget; or add Views change - Open sidebar message action to the Views navigation widget; or use Record selection changes - Open sidebar from the List/Table/Feature Info widget.

However, we currently don't support opening sidebars using text widgets.

Regards,

Shengdi

I agree with this Idea. I'm researching this functionality now and came across this idea. We are using Enterprise 11.3 and having the sidebar automatically show when getting a hit on the near me widget would be very welcome. This is especially true for smaller screens like tablet and mobile.
