Query widget - Select any layer, all features for spatial filters

Hi All,

I see major issues with the current version of the Query widget's "Selected features from data source".

a) The Query widget is not compatible with the Add Data widget; a layer added by a user cannot be selected for a spatial query, only pre-defined layers are available. This is a show-stopper for two of my applications.

b) The Query widget relies on manual user selection of features, which seems the opposite of automation, this only works for toy data sets. The Table widget lacks the ability to Select All records, which could help. Asking a user to manually select all records in a Table of hundreds one-by-one is not going to happen. Selecting on the map is unreliable; users may not see the features or draw correctly to select them all.

The WAB Query widget does not have these limitations. Unfortunately in its current form, the Query Widget is painfully constrained, unusable, not ready for real-world applications.

Can we get an ETA of when Query widget abilities will be enhanced and expanded? ASAP please.
