How to remove the conflict between the feature labels and the frame when using data driven tools,

How to remove the conflict between the feature labels and the frame when using data driven tools?

I would like to print out a data driven file, but there is a conflict between the feature labels and the frame taking into consideration that the maplex label engine is active.

What might be the issue here?

Hi Majdoleen,

There is a setting in ArcMap to define whether or not the labels are allowed to overlap the map border. I think this could be the issue here. The option is accessed from the 'Options' part of the drop-down from your second screenshot and is on the Maplex tab, it's called 'Allow labels to overlap border'

Do you have this option enabled?

Thank you for your reply, despite the fact that this option is disable, the conflict is appeared.

The option 'Allow labels to overlap borders' will not work when applying offset on the label, this has been reported as a bug with the following information BUG-000116296, hope it will be enhanced in the future.
