Hi everyone,

I have a relatively complex and data intensive web application that I want to ensure is in the Cloud and redundant. Presently we're hosting it on a three distinct servers - the web server (which hosts the HTML5 application), the map server (which hosts all of the services the app accesses) and the database server (MSSQL - which hosts the underlying data it pulls from).

When moving such a configuration in the Cloud would you recommend a similar deployment (with separate roles?) or would you suggest consolidating the roles?

Moreover, I'm aware of methods for creating redundancy in terms of map services, however, in the Cloud how would you recommend making our ArcSDE and SQL instances redundant as well? SQL replication or some other methodology?

Thanks in advance,
Best,
Mike
