topic Published geoprocessing tool does not initializeParameters in ArcGIS Enterprise Questions https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/published-geoprocessing-tool-does-not/m-p/175088#M6936 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi all!</P><P></P><P>I have developed a geoprocessing tool that works as expected within ArcGIS Pro 2.5.&nbsp;</P><P>The tool is quite simple, it loads three values from the database into three different parameter boxes with validation &amp; initialize parameters.</P><P>&nbsp;<IMG alt="" class="jive-emoji image-1 jive-image j-img-original" src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/484663_Tool.png" /><IMG alt="" class="jive-emoji jive-image image-2 j-img-original" src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/484692_validation.png" /></P><P></P><P>These parameters are then possible to modify and the new values are saved&nbsp;to the same table as the tool gets executed.&nbsp;</P><P>The next run the tool will get the new parameters within the textboxes.&nbsp;</P><P></P><P>But the problem is when the tool gets published to our Portal. (10.8.x)</P><P>The parameters does not load from the database, it uses the default values from when the tool was published the first time.
