ArcGIS Server 10.7.1: What is the difference between request and throughput?

I couldn’t figure out the difference between request and throughput.

The ArcGIS Server statistics show that:

The number of requests in 18 Sept 2020 from 13:00 to 13:30 is 22,330.

The number of requests in 18 Sept 2020 from 13:30 to 14:00 is 26,853.

Then the total is 22,330 + 26,853 = 49,183

By using the Platform Capacity Calculator, it is confirmed that 8-core machine has a capacity of 63,600 TPH.

Does this mean that this machine (8-core) can cover the requests from 13:00 to 14:00?
