We are seeing inconsistent behavior between FeatureServer and MapServer endpoints.

Observation:

Querying a specific ObjectID via FeatureServer returns the record.
Querying the same ObjectID via MapServer returns no records found.
Only a single line feature is affected — not the entire layer.

Environment:

ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5
Stand-alone ArcGIS Server (not federated with Portal)
Data is branch versioned.
Service published from ArcGIS Pro to stand-alone Server.
No Definition Query is applied for any of the layers.

We temporarily switched the geodatabase from branch versioning to traditional versioning, re-checked the data, and in this case the feature appears in the data in GDB.

When switching back to branch versioning, the feature again disappears from data on GDB.

Question:

What might be the cause that the particular feature is missing on the MapServer but is showing in the FeatureServer on Rest End query.
