ArcGIS Server Manager - Data Stores with Orange Question Marks (Reverts back with Refresh after Validate)

Hi all,

In the Server Manager, under Data Stores, we keep having Orange Question Marks (even after we Validate and get Green Checks, it reverts again to Orange Question Marks after a Refresh) - Anyone know why? (We have a general Data Store area along with an SQL Vector and Raster GDB, and I need to register with the data store when publishing a new basemap from new imagery.) Ideas?

Hey @Teresa-AZ, this is weird, if you try to add the database as a new connection in the ArcGIS server, do you face any errors?

What version are you using? Did you change anything recently?

Can you try validating them from the admin interface?

When you validate, can you check for the server logs and see if there are any entries at the same time you validate?

Thanks for your reply and it is indeed weird!

1. Not sure on that one.

2. V.11.0.0 (build 35046); and nothing "should" have change in the current server. (I am new here and I know they migrated to a new server and upgraded to AGE 11.3 but are still using the older server at this time.)

3. Signed out and back in as Admin via AGOL login AND get the same green checks but when refresh page it reverts back to orange question marks. Ugg.

4. Checked Logs (although I am doing this again in the early morning hours) and no one is on at this time.

I am not sure how long it is been like this but I will reach directly out to Esri if needed.

Hey Teresa, it has always performed that way. Only shows the green check mark when you validate which is a good thing but by default it stays with the orange questionmark.

Please let us know if you hear anything different from ESRI.
