    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.esri.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10527"&gt;@JakeSkinner&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Am not sure on that as well as someone else had configured the environment earlier. I was under the impression that the if this particular option is unchecked then, one would still be able to access manager &amp;amp; rest serviced endpoint and won't be able to access admin endpoint.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please let me know if my understanding is incorrect.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Unable to access server manager</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have the following architecture:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Machine A: ArcGIS Server &amp;amp; ArcGIS DataStore&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Machine B: Portal for ArcGIS, &amp;amp; WebAdaptors of Portal &amp;amp; Server&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our portal &amp;amp; server is publicly accessible. Recently, we observed that we are able to access portal publicly however, on trying to access server manager publicly we get the following error as shown in the screenshot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="server.jpg" style="width: 800px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.esri.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124994i27EDCB659CB0A46A/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="server.jpg" alt="server.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Things that we have checked&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Able to access server manager through internal/port URL.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Made sure services of ArcGIS Server is running from services.msc&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Able to access REST URL of the services.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Further it was observed that when we try to access server &amp;amp; portal through the FQDN of the webserver machine on which WebAdaptors are installed, portal is opening successfully however, server is still not opening. Attached is the screenshot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="WebServer_Server_1.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.esri.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124999i7586AD69FA78A5EB/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="WebServer_Server_1.png" alt="WebServer_Server_1.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On researching on this further I came across the following link :&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-portal-questions/reconfiguring-webadaptor-for-portal/td-p/109102" target="_blank"&gt;Solved: Reconfiguring WebAdaptor for Portal - Esri Community&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was solved by uninstalling &amp;amp; reinstalling webadaptor. Hence, just wanted to know if that is the only way to resolve this issue or there is something that can be checked. Also, if uninstalling &amp;amp; reinstalling is the only way would anything happen to the existing services published to the server site.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any inputs would be great .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.esri.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/475615"&gt;@wizgis&lt;/a&gt;,&amp;nbsp;when configuring the web adaptor, did you check the following option?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="JakeSkinner_0-1739196482314.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.esri.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/125003iB8E03855CFDF2DE7/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="JakeSkinner_0-1739196482314.png" alt="JakeSkinner_0-1739196482314.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This will allow you to access ArcGIS Server Manager through the web adaptor.&amp;nbsp; If this is not checked, you can only access the web adaptor through &lt;A href="https://community.esri.com/" target="_blank"&gt;https://&amp;lt;FQDN&amp;gt;:6443/arcgis/manager&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp; You can run the web adaptor again with this option checked to reconfigure.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You won't be able to access Server Manager through the Web Adaptor URL if Administrative Access is not enabled.&amp;nbsp; You can check in Server Manager by going to Site &amp;gt; Web Adaptor:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="JakeSkinner_0-1739206314483.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.esri.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/125014i906A1DBFC5DE245B/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="JakeSkinner_0-1739206314483.png" alt="JakeSkinner_0-1739206314483.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
