Try typing the password into a text file so you can read it, then copy it from there.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you sure that ArcCatalog is connecting to the correct database ? For example, your 32-bit client (used by ArcCatalog) may have different TNSNAME.ORA file to the 64-bit client used by ArcGIS Pro.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have 32-bit SQLplus installed, you could verify whether or not the connection credentials work outside of ArcGIS.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>ArcCatalog cannot connect Oracle DB</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Recently, I upgraded ArcCatalog from 10.6.1 to 10.8.1 and installed Arcgis Pro. Besides, DBA updated a user password in Oracle DB which is 19c.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In ArcCatalog, I tried to login that account and an error message prompted "Failed to connect to the specified server. Do you want to continue? Bad login user." DBA checked it is ora-01017.&amp;nbsp; However, I connected with another account successfully.&amp;nbsp; Also, I tried that account in other's PC and it showed success.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, in Arcgis Pro, I can connect to that user without any problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do not have any idea what's wrong in my PC. Please help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
