While configuring Web adaptor 11.3, I get: HTTP Error 404

I have installed and licensed these on a single EC2 instance in the order given:

Arcgis server
Arcgis Datastore
1. Validate it with the server
Arcgis portal

Upon installation of the ArcGIS web adaptor, I created one for the server. Upon configuration, I clicked on the first option for the server. Upon clicking next I get the error:

Not Found

HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.

I am having a problem in transitioning from step 2 to 3.

Hey @AhmedRauf

If this is a Windows machine, I would ensure that the IIS web server is running, in order to use the web adaptor this will need to be routed through the IIS. You may try to uninstall the web adaptor, restart the hosting machine, and reinstall the web adaptor to be sure that everything came across correctly.

Just some thoughts: Did you configure the WebAdaptor for http or https and is that in sync with your settings in the IIS ("Bindings")?
