ArcGIS server administrator register a machine

Running Rocky Linux 9, ArcGIS server 11.2, first server has portal/server/datastore running and is Federated

Second system same version operating system and server they are using the same config-store and directories folders.

when I try to register the second machine on the first machines I get this error

Failed to register the server machine 'granit24a-vm1.sr.unh.edu'. Could not connect to the ArcGIS component at URL 'https://granit24a-vm1.sr.unh.edu:6443/local/licenses'. The ArcGIS component on that machine may not be running or the machine may not be reachable at this time.Error: status code: 404

It is true local/licenses doe not exist but then again don't know why it should.

Anybody have clue on what I should look for next?

hi,

Not exactly since I am doing this on Linux not Windows. When on the second system I can't use the normal join site, the step following the install, the first machine is running a Federated portal so the normal https://<webserver.com>:6643/arcgis/admin takes you to the portal admin login with token needed.

just tried via the admin page instead of manager page, looks like I need to install DataStore so the second system matches the first, will update after doing that
