topic Distributed collaboration by copy for tables (not feature layers) in ArcGIS Enterprise Questions

Even though I've enabled sync on my feature tables, they will not replicate to my AGOL from Enterprise 10.9.1 though my collaboration. When I look at my Portal debug logs, I get the following error:

Failed to create a replica on feature layer 'https://myserver/arcgis/rest/services/Hosted/mytable/FeatureServer'. {"error":{"code":500,"message":"[\"ErrorMsg@SyncGPService:{\\\"code\\\":400,\\\"description\\\":\\\"Failed to create inSR from input JSON.\\\"}\",\"Failed to execute (Create Feature Service Replica).\",\"Failed.\"]","details":[]}}

Does this mean that hosted tables are not supported in distributed collaborations configured to copy (instead of reference) are unsupported. I tried digging though the documentation but did not find anything that explicitly mentioned this.

I suppose I could create a feature layer and just have all the locations at 0,0, but that seems a little messy.
