Hi,

I'm working in

ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 on Windows Server 2016 and
SQL Server 2019 on Windows Server 2022

I have published a map service from a database view that generates geometry from coordinates stored in the database table. The full query is in the attached text file.

When the service is published I can successfully:

Query the rest end point
Add the service to a web map and open its attribute table
Create a chart for the service in web app builder
Use it as data source for a list in a dashboard

However, I cannot use it as a data source for a serial chart, indicator or pie chart in a a dashboard. When I try to do this, I get a SEVERE entry in the server log with the error message shown in the subject of this post.

Does anyone know what is going on and if there is a way to fix this or work around it?
