What I wanted you (and others) to read is Stuart F's excellent explanation on how licensing&amp;nbsp; and license manager works.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In my experience this issue is usually:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Firewall related, if so, follow that Help article&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2 Conflict with 3rd party license manager, such as AutoCad. I usually do the same&amp;nbsp; - follow the article because it locks the ports to ArcGIS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
