    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;temporarily I restored the arcgis server services changing the "Authentication Tier" parameter as described here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/unfederate-server-without-portal/m-p/615878" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/unfederate-server-without-portal/m-p/615878&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But Portal is out of service.&lt;BR /&gt;I was considering 2 ways: reinstall Portal 10.7.1 or upgrade Portal and server to 10.8.1.&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any way to reinstall portal and reuse content from a bacup folder?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Portal 10.7.1 does not respond after patch installing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would add that the REST ADMIN API is unreachable, due to the inability to authenticate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any way to perform unfederate without going through the API?&lt;BR /&gt;It would allow me to restore the functionality of the arcgis server services while waiting for the Portal issue to be resolved.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
