Specific IIS components are required for IIS 7.0 and higher

I am working on Azure VM machine:

Windows Server 2019 Datacenter 64

Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8272CL CPU

8 GB RAM

joined workgroup domain.

I have installed Enterprise (Portal & Server) and finished configurations with no error, no I am trying to install ArcGIS web adaptor but it still give me the following error although the last version of IIS have already been installed!

Have you reveiwed the system requirements? I think I’m right in saying the MSI installer will not install missing components, but the exe option will. I always manually configure to this spec before attempting an install:

Thanks a lot Scott, just because i am using Azure VM server machine some features in IIS didn't enabled when the IIS installed, so I enabled these features and the WebAdaptor installation works fine.

Good news. It's actually typical. Even if it was an on-prem server, the standard install of IIS does not meet the requirements that the Web Adaptor has, so you always need a few more.
