ArcGIS Server Change Directory Paths To File Server

I am trying to change the ArcGIS Server directory paths to a file server that we set up. I was able to change the config-store no problem.

When trying to change any of the directory paths I get this error

Failed to retrieve the status of the service

'Map Service Name'.

Illegal group reference.

The user has the correct permissions on the file server.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Do you see any similar errors in ArcGIS Server Manager's logs tab after stopping and starting the ArcGIS Server windows service?

Figured out the issue. I had a D$ in mu UNC path that was causing the issue.
