The way I would do this is to add cache levels your existing tiled map down to the 50 scale, but with empty tiles from 288 to 50. That way you can have the zoom levels go to where you want. Now you can switch between the dynamic layers in the empty zoom levels.

Chris

I have 3 basemaps I am using. The first one is tiled (cached) with 7 different scales. The others are dynamic layer basemaps. When I switch basemaps, the scales from the tiled basemap apply to the dynamic layer basemaps. Is there a way I can set the scales in the dynamic layer basemaps to be different from the tiled basemap?

Example:

Here is what I have now -

Tiled Basemap Scales = 288, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10000, 30000

Dynamic Layers Basemap Scales = same as Tiled Basemap Scales

Here is what I want to do -

Tiled Basemap Scales = 288, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10000, 30000

Dynamic Layers Basemap Scales = allow the user to zoom down to 50 scale
